File Ownership

We are a predominantly government-funded association, and as such have to comply with certain government stipulations.

A standard clause in most agreements, and in ours as well, is that the applicable Ministry is the legal owner of the client file. However, the Freedom of Information and Privacy Act governs any person or office’s access to a file.
